The Carini family estate is located on the slopes of Mount Tezio and the plains of Lake Trasimeno, which, like the city of Perugia, is just 15 minutes away. The 140 hectares of fields, vineyards and groves are all organic. Our main activity is winemaking, but we also make olive oil from centuries old olive trees and grow the native legume, the fagiolina del Trasimeno, a Trasimeno SlowFood product. Not only, but we have a free-range herd of prized Cinta Senese pigs which provide us with exceptional cured meats that can be sampled along with our wines.
